Description
As the Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the financial strategy and operations of Danube Properties. You will be responsible for overseeing the financial health of the company, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, and providing valuable insights to support business decisions. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining the company's strong financial position and facilitating its growth.

Responsibilities

Manage and lead the Finance & Accounts department, providing strategic direction and guidance.
Ensure compliance with accounting principles, IFRS standards, and escrow account regulations specific to the real estate industry in Dubai.
Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support business planning and decision-making.
Implement and maintain effective financial controls and internal processes to mitigate risks and ensure accuracy.
Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support their strategic initiatives.
Supervise and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes to ensure the company's financial strategies remain competitive.
Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, bankers, and government authorities.
Oversee cash flow management, ensuring optimal liquidity and financial stability for the company.
Provide timely and accurate financial information to the management team, enabling informed decision-making.

Qualifications

Minimum 10-12 years of experience in finance and accounting, with a strong focus on the real estate industry in Dubai.
In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, IFRS standards, and escrow account management within the real estate sector.
Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and mentor a finance team.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of providing financial insights to support business decisions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
Proficiency in financial software and tools, including ERP systems, is highly preferred.
A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is required; a master's degree is an advantage.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) designation is desirable.
Experience working with real estate developers and a deep understanding of the Dubai real estate market is essential.
A proactive and results-driven approach, with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
