FMCG Packaging Production Assistant

Our client is a well—established personal care and hygiene packaging organization.

We are recruiting UAE experienced production assistant to join their manufacturing and production operations in UAE Norther Emirates.

The primary focus of the role is planning and scheduling all planning production activities to ensure efficient workflow and optimal resource utilization for the timely delivery of customer orders.

Candidates must have experience of developing and tracking production schedules based on demand forecasts, capacity, and resource availability.

Role Summary

• Develop production schedules and resource plans to meet production deadlines – manpower planning, quality control and cost optimization.
  


• Identify raw material requirements, production specifications and capacity to ensure that productions levels are achievable.
  


• Monitor production and adjust schedules to meet production completion dates to fulfil customer orders in a timely manner.
  


• Coordinate with the stores to optimize inventory levels to minimize excess inventory and low stock levels.
  


• Analyze production data to identify variances in material consumption, production costs and resources; identity areas for improvement and assist with implementing measures to increase production efficiency, reduce downtime and material waste.
  HSEQ compliance for safety regulations and quality standards across all production planning activities.
  

• 4+ years’ production experience in personal care, hygiene, cosmetics, beauty care packaging (CPG / FMCG).
  


• Experience in improving production processes, effective resource and material planning and maintaining production compliance in line with quality control and costs.
  


• Ability to prioritize and communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on production status, issues and affecting production timelines.
  


• Proactive approach to production planning – problem solving, analytical and continuous improvement in production planning processes.
  


• In-depth experience of production planning tools and software for capacity planning, scheduling and forecasting.
  Proficient use of Excel and ERP and MRP.


• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and process optimization is a strong advantage.
  

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering

• Currently living in the United Arab Emirates – must be able to live and work in the Northern Emirates.
  


• Good command of English – must be able to read, write and speak good English.
  


• Good presentation, interpersonal and presentation skills.
