CompanyInfo: Our clientis the North American entity of a European market leader ine-mobility. The US structure has been finalized, and we are hiringthe leadership team to support $100M expected revenue by CY2024,growing to multiples of that in 2-3years.
PositionInformation: Our client is looking for aChief Financial Officer for the US entity; however, the idealcandidate will have some form of international educational, livingor business experience, ideally working with a European Company.The ability to communicate in German is highly desirable. We willconsider a VP or fast-rising director if they demonstrateexperience in most of the areasbelow.
- CFOOverview:
- Excellentunderstanding of all business aspects of managing the financedepartment of an organization projected to reach $1Billion inrevenue.
- Assist the Chief Executive and ChiefOperating Officer in developing and executing businessplans.
- Outstanding written and verbalcommunication skills, as well as culturalawareness.
- Create and foster a culture ofexcellence and effectiveness throughout theorganization.
- Develop and maintain a robust andvibrant relationship with the Europeanheadquarters.
- Advise and partner with the USand European management teams.
- Buildrelationships with Customers, Suppliers, Partners, Banks, andAuditors.
- Develop and execute the company sfinancial strategy in NorthAmerica.
- Finance andAccounting:
- Plan andbudget in a dynamic accounting department, including bookkeeping,accounting, and all tax functions.
- Implementand manage a monthly reporting system, including financialperformance and budgets throughout theorganization.
- Manage all areas of taxation,including current and future components.
- USGAAP, IFRS
- HumanResources(HR):
- Develop andimplement the HR strategy.
- Oversee HRadministration, compensation and benefitsplans.
- Organization-wide developmentprogram.
- EmployerBranding
- Work with legal to understandapplicable Labor Law as it impacts all areas of theorganization.
- InformationTechnology (IT):
- Helpto develop Service Desk capability with 1st levelsupport.
- Create an infrastructure roadmap forboth headquarters and remote locations.
- Developplans for required hardware and software, as well as maintenanceand replacement scheduling.
- Manage the platformto ensure data privacy and data security of all informationthroughout the organization.
- Lead theimplementation of an ERP/MRPsystem.
- Legal:
- Contractsand Compliance
- Where applicable, compliancewith all rules and regulations as required in local, state andacross the entire USA.
- Manage the contractreview process on behalf of or with CEO, COO andlegal.
- Maintain insurance levels for all areasof the operation, including but not limited to liability andpersonnel.
- Keep current on labor laws with 100%compliance.
Location:The company will likely have multiple service locations in the USA;however, the headquarters will be in Charlotte, North Carolina.This position is onsite.
Reportsto: This position will report directly to the ChiefExecutive Officer USA and/or the Chief Operations Officer USA, withdual reporting responsibilities to the European CorporateLeadership.
Compensation:The yearly salary is $200-250K/year, depending uponexperience.
