Fortinet Network Engineer

We are hiring a Fortinet Network Engineer to design, deploy, and
support network security infrastructure for our clients across the UAE and
wider GCC. This is a hands-on delivery role covering Fortinet firewall
implementation, hardening, and ongoing operations, as part of our growing
Infrastructure & Cybersecurity practice. You will work closely with the
SOC, Cloud, and Cybersecurity Sales teams to deliver secure, reliable network
environments and support both project-based deployments and managed security engagements.

●        5–6+ years of hands-on
experience in network security engineering, with a strong focus on Fortinet
technologies.

●        Proven experience configuring
and managing FortiGate firewalls in enterprise or MSP/MSSP environments,
including HA, VPNs, and advanced security profiles (IPS, AV, Web Filtering,
Application Control).

●        Solid understanding of core
networking concepts: routing, switching, VLANs, NAT, and TCP/IP fundamentals.

●        Fortinet certifications
required: NSE 4 (minimum); NSE 5–7 strongly preferred.

●        Experience supporting SOC/MSS
operations, including incident response and change management within SLA-driven
environments.

●        Familiarity with complementary
security domains — SIEM integration, IAM/PAM, and cloud network security
(AWS/Azure/GCP) — is a plus.

●        Strong troubleshooting skills
and the ability to work independently on complex network security issues.

●        Bachelor's degree in Computer
Science, Information Technology, or a related field; additional networking
certifications (CCNA/CCNP or equivalent) are a plus.

●        UAE market/regional experience
preferred; existing UAE residency/work eligibility preferred.

●        Fluent in English; Arabic
language skills are an advantage.

●        Design, configure, deploy, and
maintain Fortinet security infrastructure (FortiGate firewalls, FortiManager,
FortiAnalyzer, FortiSwitch, FortiAP) across client environments.

●        Implement and manage firewall
policies, VPNs (IPSec/SSL), NAT, routing, and high-availability (HA)
configurations to industry best practices.

●        Perform network security
hardening, firmware upgrades, and patch management across the Fortinet estate.

●        Support day-to-day operations
for Managed Security Services (24x7 SOC/MSS) clients, including incident
triage, troubleshooting, and change implementation for network security
devices.

●        Conduct network security
assessments and contribute findings to client-facing reports and remediation
plans.

●        Collaborate with the SOC and
Offensive Security teams on incident response, threat containment, and
vulnerability remediation involving network infrastructure.

●        Support pre-sales and
solutioning by scoping Fortinet-based network security designs and contributing
technical input to proposals.

●        Maintain accurate network
security documentation, configuration standards, and runbooks.

●        Ensure client environments
remain aligned with relevant compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, PDPL) from
a network security perspective.

●        Provide L2/L3 support and
escalation handling for network security incidents within defined SLAs.
