Job Description - FSI-JB-540 / Fire Fighting BIM Modeler

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain accurate Fire Alarm BIM models using Autodesk Revit MEP.
Prepare detailed Fire Alarm shop drawings, layouts, sections, installation details, and as-built drawings.
Coordinate Fire Alarm systems with Architectural, Structural, HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, and Fire Fightingdisciplines.
Perform clash detection and coordination using Navisworks Manage.
Review consultant drawings and update BIM models based on design revisions and site requirements.
Prepare cable routing, device layouts, riser diagrams, and equipment schedules.
Generate BOQs, schedules, and drawing documentation from Revit models.
Participate in BIM coordination meetings and resolve design conflicts.
Ensure compliance with UAE Civil Defense, NFPA standards, project specifications, and client requirements.
Maintain BIM documentation and ensure timely updates throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Fire Alarm BIM Modeler.
Mandatory experience in High-Rise Building and Villa projects.
Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP.
Working knowledge of Navisworks Manage for clash detection and coordination.
Good understanding of Fire Alarm systems, including:
- Smoke Detection Systems
- Heat Detection Systems
- Manual Call Points
- Fire Alarm Control Panels (FACP)
- Notification Devices
- Emergency Voice Evacuation Systems
- Cable Routing and Riser Diagrams
Experience in preparing Fire Alarm shop drawings and coordination drawings.
Ability to coordinate with Architectural, Structural, MEP, and Interior teams.
Familiarity with UAE Civil Defense, NFPA standards, and local authority requirements.
Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
Immediate joiners are preferred.
