Gastroentrology Consultant

We are looking for a highly qualified Gastroenterology Consultant to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of gastrointestinal conditions. You will have an essential impact on patient care through comprehensive evaluations and personalized treatment strategies.

As a Gastroenterology Specialist, you will conduct diagnostic procedures, interpret lab results, and collaborate with other healthcare providers to deliver effective treatment plans. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients with gastrointestinal complaints to formulate effective diagnoses.
• Perform endoscopic procedures and interpret findings to guide treatment decisions.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans for conditions such as irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease, and liver disorders.
• Educate patients on dietary modifications, preventive care, and wellness strategies pertinent to gastrointestinal health.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment plans in accordance with established healthcare regulations.
• Participate in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives within the gastroenterology department.

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
• Completion of residency in Internal Medicine followed by a fellowship in Gastroenterology.
• Board certification in Gastroenterology is required.
• Current medical license valid for practice in the applicable jurisdiction.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in gastroenterology practice.
• Proficient in performing diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures.
• Strong clinical evaluation and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills.
