Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic evaluations and determine the need for surgical intervention in patients with gastrointestinal issues.
• Execute complex surgical procedures and employ advanced techniques, including laparoscopic procedures.
• Deliver pre-operative and post-operative care to ensure optimal recovery and patient satisfaction.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care to patients.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment options, associated risks, and preventive measures.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest surgical advancements and participate in continuous professional development.
• Ensure that all surgical procedures comply with established medical standards and protocols.

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
• Successful completion of a residency program in General Surgery, with specialized fellowship training in Gastrointestinal Surgery.
• Board certification in General and/or Gastrointestinal Surgery.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in gastrointestinal surgery.
• Strong surgical skills and a comprehensive understanding of gastrointestinal diseases.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Ability to function well under pressure and in a dynamic healthcare environment.
• Commitment to quality patient care and continuous improvement.
• Active and unrestricted state medical license.
