About the Role

As a General Dentist in a Government Hospital, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of dental conditions. You will perform routine dental procedures, educate patients about oral health, and contribute to public health initiatives aimed at improving community dental health.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat dental conditions, including cavities, gum disease, and other oral health issues
• Perform routine dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and cleanings
• Conduct comprehensive oral examinations and screenings
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
• Actively participate in community health programs and initiatives
• Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Stay current with advancements in dentistry and public health

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree
• Valid dental license to practice in the UAE
• Experience in a clinical dental setting preferred, particularly in government or public health contexts
• Strong knowledge of oral health practices, dental procedures, and preventive care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment
