We are looking for a highly qualified General Surgeon specializing in Bariatric Surgery to join our esteemed medical team in Bahrain. As a General Surgeon focusing on Bariatric Surgery, you will be responsible for performing weight-loss surgeries and providing comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative care to patients. Your expertise will be crucial in helping individuals achieve sustainable weight loss and improving their overall health.

This role requires a collaborative approach, working alongside a multidisciplinary team dedicated to patient care, including dietitians, psychologists, and nursing staff. We aim to provide an outstanding level of service and care to our patients, and we are looking for a surgeon who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of others.

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Completion of a General Surgery residency program, with fellowship in laproscopy or Bariatric Surgery preferred
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in Bariatric Surgical procedures
• Proficiency in a range of weight-loss surgery techniques, including laparoscopic and robotic approaches
• Exceptional communication skills to effectively engage with patients and families
• Ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
• Commitment to ethical practice and continuous education in bariatric techniques
• Valid medical license to practice in Bahrain
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
