Geriatric Medicine Doctor

We are in search of a passionate and skilled Geriatric Medicine Doctor to join our esteemed healthcare team. In this vital role, you will focus on providing exceptional care to elderly patients, addressing their complex health needs, and supporting their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of geriatric patients, including medical histories, cognitive assessments, and functional evaluations.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans that address both chronic and acute health issues.
• Manage the treatment of various age-related medical conditions including dementia, frailty, and multi-morbidity.
• Educate patients and their families on health management strategies, preventative care, and lifestyle changes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive care across various settings.
• Maintain meticulous records of patient care and treatment plans in compliance with regulations.
• Engage in professional development activities to stay current with advancements in geriatric medicine.

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) with graduation from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification in Geriatric Medicine is required.
• Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of practice.
• At least 3-5 years of experience working in geriatric medicine or a related field.
• Comprehensive knowledge of aging-related health issues and effective treatment modalities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient-centered approach to care.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Dedication to ongoing education and adherence to best practices in healthcare.
