Position Overview:
Weare looking for a Graduate Chemical / Mechanical Engineerspecializing in the energy and power sector to support ourengineering consulting and analytics projects. The successfulcandidate will work closely with senior engineers consultants anddata analysts with varied backgrounds across the full oil and gaspetrochemical power and renewables integrated value chain todevelop and implement solutions that support our client to improvetheir risk resilience in the challenging environment that theenergy transition and climate change impose to the industry. Thisis an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or earlycareerprofessional to gain handson experience in a fastpaced consultingenvironment.


KeyResponsibilities:


Support seniorengineers in conducting risk assessments and process safetyanalyses for clients in various industries including chemicalmanufacturing oil and gas and heavyindustries.

Utilize different risk assessmentmethodologies and tools under the guidance of senior member of theorganization to identify potential hazards assess consequences anddevelop risk mitigation strategies.

Collaboratewith crossfunctional teams to evaluate risks associate to newconstruction projects in the energy power and renewables industryfrom a risk engineering perspective.

Assist inthe development and implementation of risk management plansincluding emergency response protocols safety training programs andregulatory compliance strategies.

Support onsiteengineering surveys to assess risk quality of manufacturing plantsin the energy power and renewablesindustry

Analyze incident data and contribute toroot cause analyses to identify systemic issues and prevent futureoccurrences.

Stay abreast of emerging trendsregulations and advancements in risk engineering and chemicalprocess safety and contribute to knowledge sharing within theorganization


Qualifications:


Bachelorsdegree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or related field witha focus on energy and power systems.

Strongacademic background in mechanical chemistry thermodynamics andchemical process safety.

Excellent analyticaland problemsolving skills with the ability to think critically andpropose innovative solutions.

Effectivecommunication skills with the ability to convey technical conceptsand findings to both technical and nontechnicalaudiences.

Prior internship or researchexperience in the energy or chemical engineering field ispreferred.

Knowledge of regulatory requirementsand industry standards in the energy and power sector isdesirable.
