Job Description - Graphic Designer Video Editor

Meeting with the director todetermine production vision.
Reviewing rawmaterial to determine the shotlist.
Manipulating film and video footage usingmodern editing techniques.
Maintainingcontinuity while moving shots according to scenevalue.
Trimming footage and putting togetherthe rough project.
Inserting dialog, soundeffects, music, graphics, and specialeffects.
Ensuring the project follows a logicalsequence.
Consulting with the director andproduction team throughout theproject.
Illustrating concepts by designingexamples of art arrangement, size, type size and style andsubmitting them for approval.
Preparingfinished art by operating necessary equipment andsoftware.
Coordinating with outside agencies,art services, web designer, marketing, printers, and colleagues asnecessary.
Contributing to team efforts byaccomplishing tasks as needed.
Communicatingwith clients about layout and design.
Creatinga wide range of graphics and layouts for product illustrations,company logos, and websites with software such asphotoshop.
Reviewing final layouts andsuggesting improvements whennecessary.
