Job Description - Group Chief Financial Officer

Our client, a diversified holding group with multiple subsidiaries, is seeking a strategic Group CFO to lead enterprise-wide financial management during a key restructuring phase.

This role combines core CFO leadership with transformation, banking, financing, and corporate finance responsibilitiesâserving as a critical partner to the Board and Group CEO in strengthening financial performance, optimizing structure, and supporting long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities

Lead group-wide finance, governance, budgeting, reporting, treasury, and compliance across multiple subsidiaries

Play a central role in restructuring, organizational redesign, cost optimization, and financial transformation

Manage banking relationships, lender negotiations, liquidity, and capital structure

Lead long-term financing, project finance, refinancing, and major funding initiatives

Oversee corporate finance activities including M&A, valuations, due diligence, and strategic investments

Drive financial controls, performance management, and subsidiary accountability

Partner with leadership on strategic growth, capital allocation, and portfolio optimization

Ideal Profile

Proven CFO / Group CFO experience within a diversified group, conglomerate, or multi-entity business

Strong background in restructuring, banking relationships, treasury, and corporate finance

Experience with long-term debt, project finance, and capital raising

Exposure to M&A and strategic investment management

Commercially sharp, operationally strong, and confident at Board level
