Handyman / Electrician for a Luxury Hotel - Europe

Our client, a luxury hotel in Montenegro, Europe is seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman / Electrician to support its property maintenance operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining electrical installations, lighting systems, equipment, and other hotel facilities to ensure they remain safe, functional, and in excellent condition.

The ideal candidate has solid electrical maintenance skills, practical handyman experience, and the ability to respond promptly to maintenance issues while maintaining the high standards expected in a luxury hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs of electrical installations, lighting systems, switches, sockets, and hotel equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor electrical faults and technical issues safely and efficiently.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house facilities, and other hotel premises.
• Carry out preventive maintenance to ensure hotel facilities and equipment remain in good working condition.
• Perform general handyman duties, including minor plumbing repairs, furniture fixes, painting touch-ups, and other maintenance tasks as required.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and report issues that require specialized technical assistance.
• Coordinate with external technicians and service providers when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas while minimizing disruption to hotel guests and daily operations.
• Follow hotel procedures, workplace safety requirements, and applicable electrical safety standards.
• Support the maintenance team in maintaining the hotel's quality standards and guest comfort.

• Previous experience as a Handyman, Electrician, Maintenance Technician, or in a similar role.
• Good practical knowledge of electrical installations, lighting systems, and basic electrical repairs.
• Ability to troubleshoot minor technical issues and carry out general maintenance tasks.
• Familiarity with maintenance tools, equipment, and safe working practices.
• Previous experience in a hotel, resort, or hospitality environment is an advantage.
• Responsible, organized, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good communication skills with a minimum B2 level of English.
• Professional attitude and awareness of the service standards expected in a luxury hotel.
• Willingness to relocate to Montenegro for the position.

Monthly salary of €900–€1,000, accommodation and two meals provided, and an 8-hour workday, with 1 day off per week
