• Overseeing table service during all family meals and gatherings. Supervising the housekeepers in the setting, clearing, and restoring of the dining area.
  
• Drink and wine service.
  
• Guest hospitality, greeting, refreshments, and event support.
  
• Event planning.
  
• Wardrobe and laundry workflow oversight, including delicate fabric care, dry‑cleaning coordination, organization, and correct storage.
  
• Driving duties only when requested, ensuring vehicle readiness.
  
• Gardening or light household tasks when required.
  
• Weekly inspection of household systems (plumbing, electrical, appliances).
  
• Vendor and maintenance coordination, including repairs, services, renovations, and supplier management.
  
• Budget reporting and cost management, including quarterly budget reporting.
  
• Managing household inventories, ordering and restocking as necessary.
  
• Car maintenance oversight.
  
• Updating and maintaining household SOPs and the Butler Manual, including version control.
  
• Supervising household staff, including daily briefings and quarterly performance reviews.
  
• Maintaining an up‑to‑date supplier list.
  
• Ensuring timely renewal of household members’ identity documents and visas.
  
• Tracking and overseeing house‑related contracts.
  
• Providing personal support to the principal when needed.
  

Requirements

• Proven experience as Butler or House Manager in UHNW households or luxury estates.
  
• Completion of formal butler training from a recognized academy is preferred to be well versed in staff, house, and table management techniques. 
  
• Fluency in Mandarin and English is required for effective household communication.
  
• Confident working knowledge of wardrobe care, including handling of delicate fabrics and garment -specific laundry techniques is required.
  
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  
• Discretion, attention to detail, and adaptability.
  

Benefits

• This is a live -in, full -time position, however the option to live out is also possible. Accommodation is a private room and bathroom within the villa. Meals are provided daily.
