Head of Enterprise Delivery & Resource Management

JOB SUMMARY / INTRODUCTION

To ensures people excellence, standards, and maturity across the chapter while enabling high performing team to deliver strategic outcomes. The Chapter Lead balances people leadership, capability development, and governance, without owning day today delivery. Govern and monitor multiple programs/projects ensuring it is delivered on time and within budget with full adoption of Governance & delivery frameworks, controls and processes. Work directly with all functions of the office (Value Management, Integration & Governance), CPMO Delivery Teams (Tech/Non-Tech) and Business to ensure programs/projects have what they need for execution. Leverage all tools, resources, and processes to ensure they can be delivered on time and within budget.

          KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

       1. People & Capability Leadership

• Lead, coach, and develop members to build strong professional capabilities.
• Own skills development, mentoring, and succession planning within the team.
• Foster a strong culture of learning, accountability, and continuous improvement.

        2. Strategic Alignment & Governance

• Align team capabilities with enterprise strategy, roadmap, and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with project managers to ensure the right skills are deployed to the right initiatives.
• Support risk management, compliance, and audit requirements within the team domain.
• Accountable for adherence of programs/projects to the Banks governance including processes, reporting and governance committees.
• Ensure CPMO standards and controls on programs/projects are followed including progress against plan, budget, vendor costs, RAID (risks, issues, assumptions & dependencies).
• Work closely with project managers to resolve issues and handle escalations.

• Proposes best practices on how to ensure efficient management principles, processes, tools, and templates and continuously maintained.
   

  3. Demand & Capacity Management

• Provide visibility into team capacity, skills mix, and constraints and future capacity planning.

• Optimize resource utilization across initiatives while maintaining quality and sustainability.

  4. Stakeholder Collaboration

• Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders on capability maturity and delivery direction.
• Act as the single point of contact for latest delivery position.

• Must maintain in-depth knowledge of individual projects/programs to ensure accurate visibility to Senior Management.

  REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS

• Qualifications & Experience
• University Degree in Technology, Management, or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience in the relevant capability domain.
• Proven experience leading specialist teams.
• Strong people leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience operating in agile / product based.

• Ability to influence without direct delivery ownership.

  Skills

• Experience in handling multiple programs with interdependencies and an ability to proactively resolve issues.
• Experience in managing various project management delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
• Experience of working with a cross-functional team.
• Good stakeholder management capability and working with senior management.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications; PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
• Willing to learn, collaborate, go the extra-mile, and demonstrate a high level of integrity with the ability to handle highly confidential information appropriately.
