Head of Global Programming - Creators HQ

About the Role

We are looking for a visionary and strategic Head of Global Programming to lead the programming function across Creators HQ and the 1 Billion Followers Summit.

This role is responsible for defining the global programming vision, shaping high-impact agendas, and building world-class experiences that bring together the most influential creators, platforms, brands, and industry leaders.

This role is ideal for someone who understands content, creators, and culture at the highest level, and can translate that into programming that is relevant, bold, and globally impactful.

Key Responsibilities

Programming Strategy & Vision

• Define and lead the global programming strategy across Creators HQ and the 1 Billion Followers Summit
• Shape the overall agenda, themes, and content direction across all stages, events, and initiatives
• Identify key trends in the creator economy, media, technology, and culture, and translate them into programming opportunities
• Ensure all programming aligns with the organization’s vision, positioning, and global impact goals

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead and manage the programming team, including Program Managers and cross-functional collaborators
• Set clear priorities, workflows, and standards for program development and execution
• Mentor and develop team members to ensure high performance and growth
• Work closely with leadership to align programming with broader business and strategic objectives

Speaker & Content Curation

• Oversee the sourcing and curation of top-tier global speakers, creators, and industry leaders
• Ensure diversity, relevance, and quality across all programming content
• Personally engage and build relationships with high-profile talent and key voices in the ecosystem
• Guide the development of session formats, narratives, and storytelling approaches

Program Execution Oversight

• Oversee the end-to-end execution of all programs, ensuring excellence in delivery and experience
• Work closely with operations, production, partnerships, and content teams to ensure seamless implementation
• Maintain high standards across all stages, sessions, and activations

Partnerships & Ecosystem Development

• Collaborate with platforms, brands, governments, and partners to co-create impactful programming
• Identify and secure strategic partnerships that enhance program quality and reach
• Support partnership teams by aligning programming opportunities with commercial and strategic goals

Innovation & Growth

• Continuously evolve programming formats, experiences, and content to stay ahead of global trends
• Introduce new concepts, formats, and activations that push the boundaries of creator events
• Identify opportunities to expand Creators HQ programming globally

Performance & Reporting

• Define KPIs and success metrics for all programming initiatives
• Monitor performance and continuously optimize programs based on insights and feedback
• Report progress, impact, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership

Requirements

• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in programming, content strategy, events, or media (preferably within the creator economy or digital platforms)
• Proven experience leading large-scale global programs or events
• Strong leadership and team management experience
• Deep understanding of the creator ecosystem, platforms, and digital content trends
• Exceptional communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to operate at both strategic and executional levels
• Based in Dubai or willing to relocate
