Job Description - Head of Sales - KSA

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver annual Sales Targets and Gross margin development
  • Deliver annual financial and Sales targets.
  • Align distributors on commercial targets & measurements through robust Joint Business Plan for each annual fiscal year.
  • Identify & recommend action plans to accelerate sustainable share and volume growth.
  • Negotiate with distributors trade terms and plans. 
  • Own the fulfilment of contractual obligations by the distributor.
  • Enable Go-to-Market Execution
  • Drive accelerated Sales growth via delivering excellence in market Sales, availability, visibility, and in-store execution.
  • Monitor the operation of Distributors to ensure that work processes are implemented and recommend developmental plans.
  • Drive effective launch model for NPDs within an indirect (Distributor) sales model.
  • Participate and influence key customer negotiations through creating compelling selling stories for customers and partnership with distributors in the negotiation process.
  • Build on-going Sales & Distributor capabilities
  • Engage distributors to execute plans perfectly.
  • Establish strong collaboration to support distributor development.
  • Trains & develops distributor’s sales & merchandising teams and develop needed tools to achieve and maintain best in class execution.
  • Lead GGM team in the country and develop their capabilities and support their future development.
  • Competencies & Qualifications

  • Demonstrated Leadership capabilities.
  • Team player with strong ability to work in a matrix organisation.
  • Strong Go to market Knowledge and understanding.
  • Demonstrate strong category expertise.
  • Strong understanding of trade landscape in KSA to support business plans.
  • Should have 8+ years of FMCG foods experience including being in a senior managerial role for at least 4 years
