Head of Strategic Finance

• Review existing processes, controls and procedures and implement robust best-in-class internal controls and financial governance frameworks
  


• Oversee and lead all aspects of accounting/booking, treasury management, and financial planning and analysis
  


• Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models, business case models, and budgeting models. Ensuring accuracy and reliability in all financial modeling activities
  


• Provide detailed analysis and recommendations to improve profitability, cost efficiency, and financial performance
  


• Review, analyze, and understand all aspects of financial performance; interrogate results, identify and solve any gaps/errors, prepare supplementary analyses, and own and present financial performance to the CFO and Senior Management
  


• Manage the Group’s liquidity, cash flow, and working capital to ensure operational efficiency and optimize Group’s capital structure with debt and equity financing strategies
  


• Build up, mentor, and lead a high-performance finance team and foster a culture of accountability, attention to detail, and continuous improvement
  


• Drive the adoption of financial systems and tools to improve scalability and operational effectiveness
  


• Ensure accurate and timeline preparation of audited accounts and filings and be accountable for ensuring compliance across all statutory, regulatory, and internal governance process requirements
  


• Support CFO in engagements with investors and potential strategic partners, including developing market research, business cases, projections, and decks to support commercial discussions and M&A activity
  
  

Requirements

• 5–8 years of relevant work experience: Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, and strategy within dynamic business environments.
  


• A strong understanding of financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting
  


• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification: A recognized CA qualification with solid expertise in financial management, regulatory compliance, and best accounting practices
  


• Experience in digital banking or FinTech: Familiarity with the financial technology landscape, including digital payment systems, lending platforms, and regulatory frameworks. Experience in working with fast-growing, technology-driven companies is an added advantage
  


• CFA Charterholder: Holding the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation demonstrates a strong understanding of investment management, financial modelling, and strategic financial planning, which can add significant value to the role
