2+ years experience BSN Preferred Graduation from an accreditednursing program approved by board of nursing CPR/ACLS certificationis required. Currently licensed as an RN in the state of MarylandSkills High-level knowledge of cardiac medicine Proficiency atoperating EKG equipment and interpreting EKGs Strong oralcommunication skills to interact effectively with patients,physicians and other staff Leadership skills to direct the effortsof other staff and provide effective coaching Knowledge of healthinformation software used to maintain patient records Multitaskingability to monitor and care for multiple patients at once Crisismanagement skills to respond to emergencies calmly andprofessionally Thorough understanding of infection control, privacylaws and health and safety regulations
