Job Description:

Manor Hall International School seeks a dedicated and innovative High School Math Teacher to join our faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching various levels of mathematics, fostering a positive learning environment, and helping students develop a strong understanding of mathematical concepts. The ideal candidate will have a passion for math education and the ability to engage and motivate students.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach high school math courses, which may include Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, and other advanced math courses, using effective and engaging teaching methods.

Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that meet state standards and align with school curriculum guidelines. Incorporate a variety of instructional strategies to cater to diverse learning styles.

Design and administer assessments, including quizzes, tests, projects, and assignments, to evaluate student understanding and progress. Provide timely and constructive feedback to support student growth.

Maintain a positive and organized classroom environment that is conducive to learning. Implement classroom management strategies to ensure a respectful and productive classroom atmosphere.

Offer additional help and tutoring to students needing extra assistance, including before and after-school sessions. Provide individualized instruction to address specific student needs.

Stay current with developments in math education and pedagogy. Participate in professional development opportunities and continuously seek to improve teaching practices.

Work collaboratively with colleagues, administrators, and parents to support student achievement. Participate in departmental meetings, and school committees, and contribute to the broader school community.

Utilize technology to enhance instruction, including interactive tools, online resources, and digital platforms for remote or hybrid learning environments.
