Job Description - HOD English - [Native English Speakers]




Job Description:







We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced Head of Department (HOD) for English who is a native English speaker to join one of the top schools in Al Ain. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of relevant work experience in the education industry and possess exceptional leadership and communication skills. As the HOD for English, you will be responsible for overseeing the curriculum development, managing the department, and ensuring the highest standards of teaching and learning are maintained.







Key Responsibilities:








  • Develop and implement the English curriculum

  • Lead and manage the English department

  • Provide guidance and support to English teachers

  • Monitor and evaluate the academic progress of students

  • Foster a positive and engaging learning environment



Requirements



Requirements:








  • Bachelor's degree in English or related field

  • Teaching qualification such as a Diploma in Education, PGCE, QTS, or an active teaching license

  • Minimum of three years’ teaching experience in an American or British curriculum

  • Previous experience in a leadership or management role

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Native English speaker
