Our parent company, a TechnologyImplementation and Application Development company, withspecialized expertise and experience supporting Enterprise, Data,Wireless, Telecommunications, Government and Cloud Network ServiceProviders, has an immediate opening for a FieldTechnician to do Telecom Installations forLegacy POTS Replacement / POTS (Plain Old TelephoneService) for businesses throughout the US due tosubstantial growth.

This temp toperm position is an excellent career opportunity dueto the company's growth.

Whatskills will you need?

• The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-3+ years telecom installation experience, at least know the basicsof cabling. Experience with Telecom Power, Rectifiers, Invertersand Batteries is preferred but notrequired.
• Ideal candidates will also haveexperience with wiring - punch down - wire wrap - cable running -stitching.
• Candidates will be performingadditions and removals of common telecom equipment andhardware.
• Installers will be adding andremoving cable and connections on non-working equipment withoutsupervision.
• In addition, installers will betrained on leading both verification testing and continuity testingas well as be able to analyze, mark, correct, and resolvespecifications as well as problems withdrawings.
• You will also provide technicalsupport on-site or by phone. Excellent career growth to LeadInstaller or other related departments.

What We Require of You:

• Strong work ethic andexcellent customer service skills.
• Requires travel to clients'throughout the U.S. May require an overnightstay.
• Must havereliable transportation and ability to occasionally travel to sitesin the NY tri-state area, including PA.
• Hands-on experience with thebusiness installations relative to replace Plain Old TelephonyServices and equipment.
• Requires experienceinstalling VoIP plugging into UPS backupbattery.
• Experience testing connectivity ofvoice and internet data units as well as their corresponding powersupplies.
• Requires a candidate who isprofessional at the client site and has good communication andclient service skills.

PreferredExperience:

• LTE Routerinstallation, including locationdetermination
• Commercial Business VoiceInstallations
• Commercial Survey of wiring pathincluding roof penetration
• VoIP signaling andcommunication protocols
• CAT3 & CAT5/6cabling
• Voice Demarc wiring (66/110 blocksetc.)

Responsibilities:

• Receives and accounts for equipment/materialnecessary to do the projects.
• Performs basicinstallation tasks such as mounting of equipment, cable rack plusfiber protection systems, and runningcable.
• Maintains Customer QualityStandards
• Adheres to Customer Safety Policy andCustomer Security Procedures
• Professional inappearance and performance

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of basic handtools
• Ability to climb ladders and work incommunication room or centers
• Ability may berequired to lift heavy tools, materials, andsupplier
• Knowledge of Customer InstallationStandards and Documentation
• Basic knowledge ofcomputer skills
• MUST have reliabletransportation
