, permanent Position: HSE Lead Company: Star Services LLC Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates Contract Details: Full-time, permanent Star Services LLC is a leading provider of integrated services in the United Arab Emirates. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced HSE Lead to join our team in Abu Dhabi. As the HSE Lead, you will be responsible for developing and implementing safety programs and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. You will also be responsible for promoting a culture of safety and ensuring that all employees are trained and equipped to perform their job duties safely. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies and procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations - Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions - Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and develop strategies to prevent future occurrences - Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees at all levels - Collaborate with management and employees to promote a culture of safety and encourage active participation in safety initiatives - Ensure compliance with all HSE regulations and company standards - Monitor and report on HSE performance metrics to identify areas for improvement - Participate in the development and review of emergency response plans - Keep up-to-date with changes in HSE regulations and communicate any changes to relevant stakeholders - Manage and maintain all HSE records and documentation - Conduct regular safety meetings and provide guidance to employees on safe work practices Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field - Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the oil and gas industry - Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal HSE regulations - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Proven experience in developing and delivering safety training programs - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Good time management and organizational skills - NEBOSH or equivalent certification is preferred - Fluent in English, both written and verbal We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
