Job Description

We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of HSE Officer in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Our client, ADNOC, is a reputed organization in the Oil & Gas sector seeking skilled, motivated professionals. If you meet the requirements below, apply early as positions are limited.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor HSE policies and procedures across oil & gas project activities.
  
• Conduct workplace inspections, hazard identification, and risk assessments.
  
• Monitor compliance with ADNOC HSE requirements and applicable safety standards.
  
• Verify Permit to Work controls and safe working practices before hazardous activities.
  
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and HSE awareness sessions.
  
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions and support corrective actions.
  
• Maintain HSE inspection, incident, training, and compliance documentation.
  
• Coordinate with project teams to maintain a safe working environment.
  

Required Skills

1. NEBOSH Certification — Required professional HSE qualification stated in the requirement.
   
2. ADNOC Approval — Mandatory approval stated for the role.
   
3. Risk Assessment — Ability to identify hazards and implement appropriate controls.
   
4. Permit to Work — Understanding of PTW requirements in oil & gas environments.
   
5. HSE Compliance — Knowledge of occupational health, safety, and environmental procedures.
   

Preferred Skills

• Incident investigation and root-cause analysis

Work Experience Requirements

Experience was not specified in the posting. Typical requirement: HSE Officer positions on oil & gas projects commonly require prior HSE/site-safety experience, preferably in oil & gas, construction, shutdown, maintenance, or similar high-risk environments. ADNOC project exposure would be advantageous.

Education

• Minimum: Typical — Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or related discipline
  
• Preferred: NEBOSH qualification
