HYDROGEOLOGIST

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Hydrogeologist with strong experience in groundwater studies and hydrogeological assessments. The candidate will be responsible for conducting groundwater investigations, assessing hydrogeological conditions, interpreting field and technical data, and preparing technical reports in accordance with applicable UAE requirements and project standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct groundwater investigations, hydrogeological assessments, and groundwater studies for infrastructure and development projects.
  
• Plan and support groundwater monitoring, field investigations, borehole investigations, and aquifer assessments.
  
• Analyze groundwater levels, quality data, aquifer characteristics, and hydrogeological conditions.
  
• Review and interpret borehole logs, geological data, groundwater monitoring results, and other relevant technical information.
  
• Prepare hydrogeological models, groundwater assessments, technical reports, and recommendations.
  
• Assess groundwater flow, recharge, discharge, dewatering requirements, and potential impacts on construction and development activities.
  
• Coordinate with geotechnical, geological, environmental, civil, and other technical teams.
  
• Review technical studies, drawings, specifications, and consultant reports related to groundwater and hydrogeology.
  
• Ensure hydrogeological investigations and recommendations comply with applicable UAE regulations, authority requirements, and project specifications.
  
• Provide technical input and support during project planning, design, construction, and related investigations.
  
• Coordinate with relevant authorities, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders as required.
  

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Hydrogeology, Geology, Geoscience, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in hydrogeology and groundwater studies.
  
• Strong experience in groundwater investigations, groundwater assessment, aquifer studies, and hydrogeological evaluations.
  
• Experience with groundwater monitoring, borehole data, groundwater quality assessment, and interpretation of hydrogeological data.
  
• Knowledge of applicable UAE environmental and groundwater requirements and authority standards.
  
• Experience working on infrastructure, construction, environmental, or development projects is preferred.
  
• Proficiency in relevant hydrogeological, GIS, modeling, and technical reporting tools.
  
• Strong technical report writing and analytical skills.
  
• Good communication and coordination skills with consultants, contractors, authorities, and multidisciplinary project teams.
