Ict Teacher

We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic ICT Teacher to deliver high-quality instruction in Information and Communication Technology. The ideal candidate will inspire students to develop strong digital skills, computational thinking, and responsible technology use.

Key Responsibilities

·       Plan and deliver engaging ICT lessons aligned with the curriculum

·       Teach topics such as computer fundamentals, MS Office, coding basics, internet safety, and digital literacy

·       Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback

·       Integrate technology into classroom learning effectively

·       Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment

·       Prepare lesson plans, assignments, and assessments

·       Support students in developing problem-solving and technical skills

·       Ensure safe and responsible use of technology in the classroom

·       Participate in staff meetings, training, and school activities

Required Qualifications

·       Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

·       Teaching certification or diploma (preferred / as per school policy)

·       Proven experience as an ICT Teacher or Computer Teacher

·       Strong knowledge of computer applications and basic programming

·       Excellent communication and classroom management skills

Preferred Qualifications

·       Experience teaching Cambridge / IB / Local Board curriculum

·       Knowledge of Scratch, Python, HTML, or basic coding platforms

·       Familiarity with smart boards and e-learning tools
