As an ICU Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care for critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit. Your duties will include closely monitoring patients, administering medication and treatments, coordinating with other healthcare professionals, and providing emotional support to patients and their families.

Key responsibilities:

• Assessing, planning, and implementing care for critically ill patients in the ICU

• Monitoring and interpreting vital signs, lab results, and other diagnostic tests

• Administering medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by the physician

• Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to develop and execute individualized care plans

• Educating and supporting patients and their families on their conditions and available treatments

• Assisting in emergency and resuscitation procedures when necessary

• Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring proper documentation

• Participating in quality improvement initiatives and staying up-to-date with best practices and protocols

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working in the ICU

• Valid nursing license in Abu Dhabi

• Excellent knowledge of critical care nursing and advanced life support techniques

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work well under pressure and handle emergency situations with composure

• Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients and their families

• Flexibility to work shifts and on-call as needed

• The candidate must have received Western training or education.
