Informatica Developer

Duration: 12 month rolling contract

Responsibilities:

• Gather requirements and business process knowledge in order to transform the data in a way that’s geared towards the needs of end users
• Design, implement, and continuously expand data pipelines by performing extraction, transformation, and loading activities
• Collaborate with all developers and business users to gather required data and execute all ETL programs and scripts on systems and implement all data warehouse activities
• Work on data models, transformation scripts and pipelines while collaborating with business users and peers.
• Ensure that the data architecture and design is scalable, replay-able and maintainable
• Documentation on design content, Unit Testing activities.
• Monitor all business requirements and validate all designs and schedule all ETL processes and prepare documents for all data flow diagrams.
• Perform root cause analysis on all processes and resolve all production issues and validate all data and perform routine tests on databases and provide support to all ETL applications

Requirements:

• Proficient in design and development of Data pipelines/ Integrations jobs
• Experience in Informatica Power Centre
• Extensive Experience in Python data transformation
• Experience in constructing logical and physical data modelling to build the Data Warehouse / Data Lake
• Good Experience in handling the SQL, Index, Partitioning, distribution etc.,
• Extensive experience in ETL methodology for performing Data Profiling, Data Migration, Extraction Transformation and Loading using ETL tools
• Good knowledge on data, Data governance, Data Quality etc.
• Experience in CI-CD deployments will be an advantage
• Knowledge of NoSQL and Big Data technologies will be advantage.
• Experience with cloud services will be an added advantage
• Organisational skills: time management and planning
• Must have good analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to pick up new data tools and concepts quickly
