Infrastructure Architect

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect with deep expertise in ServiceNow to lead the architecture, design, and implementation of a secure and scalable on-premises ServiceNow deployment. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of hybrid cloud strategies, infrastructure design, and governance practices in enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Experience of working as an infrastructure/DevOps engineer and architect with 8+ years in an on-prem or cloud environment is a must
• Strong knowledge of building complex enterprise solutions including data center sizing, security, and infrastructure architecture
• Design and document and implement the end-to-end architecture of ServiceNow in an on-prem environment, ensuring alignment with business and security requirements.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams to define network, storage, and compute configurations.
• Working knowledge of implementing solutions with in-built security, high availability (HA), and disaster recovery (DR)
• Experience of working with on-prem virtualization technologies like VMware
• Working with additional virtualization technologies will be an added advantage
• Define integration strategies with external systems, including LDAP, monitoring tools, CMDBs, and ITSM platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Linux administration
• Strong knowledge of Linux OS security
• Strong working knowledge of at least one of the relational databases, including deployment, security, configuration, and optimization. Experience with Maria DB will be an added advantage.
• Working knowledge of creating and implementing solutions using IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and other models

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 8+ years of IT experience, with at least 3 years in a cloud/enterprise architecture role.
• Hands-on experience architecting ServiceNow on-premises, including configuration, deployment, and maintenance.
• Proficiency in infrastructure components such as Linux, VMware, storage arrays, load balancers, and firewalls.
• Familiarity with scripting (JavaScript, PowerShell), API integrations, and workflow automation.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills.
• Good to have - working knowledge of ServiceNow modules like ITSM, CMDB, Discovery, and Orchestration.
• Good to have - Arabic Language speaking (not a must)
