Internal Auditor

AHS, a prominent real estate company, is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Internal Auditor to join our team. The Internal Auditor will be responsible for evaluating and improving the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes. This position plays a key role in ensuring compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and best practices to safeguard company assets and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, conduct, and report on internal audits covering financial, operational, compliance, and IT areas.
• Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and identify control weaknesses or risks.
• Evaluate compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Recommend improvements to risk management, controls, and governance processes.
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies as necessary.
• Follow up on audit findings and management action plans to ensure timely resolution.
• Develop and maintain audit programs and checklists based on industry standards and best practices.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging risks and regulatory changes affecting the real estate sector.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Professional certification such as CIA, CPA, or ACCA is preferred.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in internal auditing, preferably within real estate or related industries.
• Strong knowledge of auditing standards, risk management, and internal control frameworks.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and report writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with high attention to detail.
• Integrity, objectivity, and professionalism in conducting audits.
