Internal Auditor - QHSE

Ali & Sons is looking for an experienced Internal Auditor – QHSE to support the execution of our Group wide QHSE auditing programme across our diversified portfolio of businesses.

This is a role for an audit professional who goes beyond identifying findings , someone who can understand risk, challenge controls, identify opportunities for improvement and translate audit insights into practical actions that strengthen efficiency, compliance and operational performance.

What You'll Do

• Plan, prepare and execute scheduled QHSE and risk-based operational audits across Group entities.


• Develop audit scopes by identifying relevant internal controls, processes and risk areas.


• Assess the effectiveness and efficiency of internal controls against applicable standards, regulatory requirements and best practices.


• Document audit findings, observations and improvement opportunities clearly and accurately.


• Follow up with management on corrective and remedial actions to ensure timely closure.


• Prepare high-quality Audit Reports and Executive Summary Reports for management.


• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, effectiveness and cost savings through audit recommendations.


• Support the development, implementation and enhancement of audit tools and methodologies to improve audit efficiency.


• Create, review and maintain Internal Audit policies, procedures and plans.


• Coordinate and conduct special audits, investigations and ad-hoc assignments with minimal supervision.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for a detail-oriented and commercially aware QHSE audit professional who can operate independently, challenge established processes and provide practical recommendations that create value for the business.

Qualifications & Experience :

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.


• Minimum 5 years of demonstrated auditing experience.


• Certified Internal Auditor qualifications for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001 and ISO 27001is essential.


• Certified Internal Auditor qualification for API Spec Q1 & Q2 is preferred.


• Strong knowledge of relevant QHSE standards, specifications and regulatory requirements.


• Proven experience in risk-based operational auditing, internal controls and compliance assessment.


• Strong analytical, problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills.


• Ability to identify risks, assess controls and develop practical recommendations to mitigate them.


• Valid UAE Driver's License.
