Interventional Radiologist Specialist

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct interventional procedures such as angioscopy, biopsy, and catheter-based interventions using imaging techniques.
• Evaluate patient histories and diagnostic imaging to create effective treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
• Collaborate with referring physicians and the healthcare team to discuss cases and share insights on patient management.
• Maintain comprehensive records of patient interactions, procedural details, and follow-up care.
• Prioritize patient safety by adhering to established protocols and guidelines during all interventions.
• Participate in continuous professional development to stay current with the latest innovations in interventional radiology.

Required Qualifications:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) with official residency training in Interventional Radiology.
• Board certification in Interventional Radiology or eligibility preferred.
• Demonstrable experience performing a variety of interventional procedures in a clinical setting.
• Strong knowledge of imaging modalities and their application in diagnostic and therapeutic contexts.
• Effective communication skills for patient interaction and teamwork within a multidisciplinary environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate documentation and safety standards.
• Able to manage multiple responsibilities and deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced setting.
• Dedication to continued education and improvement within the field of interventional radiology.
