About our client

We are working with the technology team of a leading global investment fund that is seeking to add an experienced private equity investment professional. The role will sit within their technology buyout team, with a focus on software investments across Europe and Asia, and will be based full time in their Abu Dhabi headquarters. What the job involves

Executing private equity buyout, co-investment transactions across the technology sector, with a particular focus on software businesses
Evaluating and screening new investment opportunities across European and Asian markets
Building and developing detailed financial models, valuations and investment analyses to support transaction execution and decision-making
Contributing to the preparation of investment recommendations and presentations for the investment committee
Supporting the ongoing management and value creation of existing portfolio companies
Working closely with colleagues across the firm's international investment platform, including its North American team

Who we are looking for

Experience within a private equity fund, with a strong track record of executing buyout or co-underwrite transactions
Demonstrable technology investment experience, including software businesses, is essential
Experience investing across European or Asian markets
Excellent financial modelling, valuation and analytical skills, with strong commercial judgement
A strong academic background, ideally from a leading international university
Intellectual curiosity, drive and the ability to contribute within a growing international investment team
Willingness to relocate to Abu Dhabi
