Junior Consultant in Visceral

As a Junior Consultant in Visceral Surgery, you will work under the guidance of experienced surgeons, participating in surgical procedures, conducting patient assessments, and managing preoperative and postoperative care. This position provides a unique opportunity to learn and grow in a supportive setting, working with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in diagnosing and managing patients with visceral conditions, particularly those affecting the abdominal organs.
• Participate in surgical procedures under the supervision of senior surgeons.
• Support preoperative evaluations and formulate care plans in collaboration with experienced team members.
• Monitor patients’ progress during the recovery phase of treatment.
• Engage in patient education to inform them about their diagnoses and treatment options.
• Collaborate closely with the surgical team and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain detailed documentation and uphold patient confidentiality.
• Commit to continuous professional development and stay updated on advances in visceral surgery.

• Medical degree with valid licensure to practice medicine.
• Completion of a residency program in General Surgery is required.
• Interest in specializing in Visceral Surgery with a focus on abdominal organ conditions.
• Basic clinical experience in a surgical setting is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient care and teamwork.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced medical environment.
