Junior Consultant Ophthalmologist

In this position, the Junior Consultant Ophthalmologist will work alongside experienced ophthalmologists to diagnose and treat a variety of ocular conditions. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough eye examinations and assessments to diagnose various eye diseases.
• Assist in the formulation and implementation of treatment plans for patients.
• Participate in surgical procedures, gaining practical experience while ensuring patient safety and care.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment options and preventive care for eye health.
• Engage in collaborative care with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Stay current with advancements in ophthalmology through continuous education and training.

• Medical degree (MD or DO) with completion of a residency program in Ophthalmology.
• Board eligibility in Ophthalmology is preferred.
• Prior experience in an ophthalmology setting is a plus, but not required.
• Strong understanding of ocular anatomy and diseases.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team setting.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering quality patient care.
• Motivated to pursue ongoing professional development and learning.
• Adhere to ethical standards and maintain patient confidentiality.
• A valid medical license to practice in the relevant state or region.
