Junior Consultant Ophthalmologist-Private Sector

As a Junior Consultant Ophthalmologist, you will collaborate with a team of experienced specialists to provide comprehensive assessments and treatments for a variety of ocular conditions. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough eye examinations to diagnose eye diseases and conditions.
• Assist in medical and surgical management of patients.
• Participate in surgical procedures under the supervision of senior ophthalmologists.
• Educate patients regarding their eye health and available treatment options.
• Conduct follow-up consultations to monitor patient outcomes and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to enhance patient care.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

• Medical Degree (MD or equivalent) with completed residency in Ophthalmology.
• Board eligibility in Ophthalmology; certification preferred.
• Prior experience in ophthalmology is desirable but not essential.
• Strong understanding of ocular anatomy, conditions, and treatment methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing high standards of care.
• Demonstrated ethical standards and commitment to patient confidentiality.
• Must hold a valid medical license for practice in the respective state or region.
• Ability to work within a team-oriented environment.
