Junior Consultant Ophthalmologist-Private Sector

SearchPlus HR is on the lookout for a passionate and ambitious Junior Consultant Ophthalmologist to join our team in the private sector. In this role, you will work closely with senior ophthalmologists to deliver thorough assessments, accurate diagnoses, and effective treatment plans for a diverse range of eye health issues. You will also have the opportunity to participate in surgical procedures and expand your clinical and surgical competencies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive eye examinations to diagnose and treat various ocular conditions.
• Assist in surgical procedures while gaining practical experience under the mentorship of senior colleagues.
• Educate patients on eye health, treatment options, and preventive care measures.
• Monitor patient progress through follow-up appointments and adjust treatment plans as required.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic patient care.
• Keep current with ongoing education and advancements in the field of ophthalmology.

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with a completed residency in Ophthalmology.
• Board eligibility in Ophthalmology; certification is preferred.
• Prior experience in an ophthalmic setting is advantageous but not a prerequisite.
• Strong understanding of eye anatomy, diseases, and treatment methods.
• Excellent communication skills, fostering a positive patient experience.
• Ability to work under supervision, embracing mentorship opportunities.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality patient care.
• Motivated to grow professionally through ongoing training and education.
