Job Description - Junior Electrical Engineer

Black & Grey HR is partnering with a leading contracting company in the UAE to hire a Junior Electrical Engineer for high-rise building projects. The ideal candidate will support the electrical team in site execution, technical coordination, documentation, and project monitoring activities.

Responsibilities:

- Assist in supervising electrical works at project sites.

- Support the review of electrical drawings, technical documents, and shop drawings.

- Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, and consultants for smooth project execution.

- Monitor installation activities related to lighting, power, fire alarm, and ELV systems.

- Assist in resolving basic technical and site-related issues.

- Ensure electrical works are carried out as per approved drawings and safety standards.

- Support material inspections, technical submissions, and documentation activities.

- Maintain daily progress reports and project records.

- Coordinate with MEP teams to ensure proper execution and integration of services.

Requirements

- Bachelorâs Degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent engineering qualification is mandatory.

- Candidates must have 3â8 years of experience with contracting companies.

- Experience working on high-rise building projects will be preferred.

- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and MEP coordination is required.

- Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.

- Familiarity with BIM/Revit will be an added advantage.

- Candidates should possess good technical understanding and problem-solving skills.

- Good communication and teamwork abilities are required.
