Role Summary

The Junior Product Merchandiser at SQUATWOLF will be at the forefront of our product development and merchandising strategy. This role requires a meticulous individual with a keen eye for market trends, consumer preferences, and the ability to translate insights into a compelling product assortment. As a vital part of our team, you will contribute to shaping the visual identity of SQUATWOLF through strategic merchandising.

Responsibilities

• Product Curation:
  
  
  
  • Support the creation of the product development strategy that aligns with SQUATWOLF's brand identity, target audience, and market trends.
  
  
  
  


• Market Analysis:
  
  
  
  • Conduct regular market research to identify emerging trends, competitor strategies, and consumer preferences.
  
  
  
  


• Project Management & Master data:
  
  
  
  • Support the full product team during the development season, from briefing to Line close stages providing the Product Master data to the rest of the business.
  
  
  
  


• Collection Development: 
  
  
  
  • Support in monitoring the development of the collections and constantly coordinate with the Design and Product Development teams, guiding the optimal balance between design vision and commercial goals to ensure adherence with the Merchandising plan.
  
  
  
  


• Price Strategy:
  
  
  
  • Support in developing pricing strategies in collaboration with the planning & finance team, considering market positioning, production costs, and perceived value.
  
  
  
  


• Sales Forecasting:
  
  
  
  • Support in providing a Sales forecasting estimation to ensure raw materials are timely ordered.
  
  
  
  


• Go-to-Market:
  
  
  
  • Support the creation of the go-to-market calendar for product launches, which will subsequently guide the overarching marketing initiatives.
  
  
  
  


• Sell-in campaigns:
  
  
  
  • Preparation for the sales campaign: merchandising overviews, sell-in tools and product presentations that should assist and provide the Sales team with the necessary information to  effectively sell the collection.
  
  
  
  

Qualifications, Experience, Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Fashion Management, Business or a related field.


• Minimum of 3 years of experience in product merchandising.


• Proven experience in product merchandising within the fashion or activewear industry.


• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.


• Project Management skills


• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.


• Meticulous attention to detail and a strong aesthetic sense.


• General interest in fitness & activewear
