Junior Quantity Surveyor

As a Junior Quantity Surveyor, your role involves accurately estimating project quantities. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders, apply technical expertise in executing the job.

• Evaluate the quantities of various items of work involved accurately and in a timely manner as instructed by HOD well before the tender submission date.
• Identify any items of work which are not included in the BOQ issued by the client and inform to HOD/ Procurement Engineer for getting subcontractor quotations, if required.
• Identify any items of work are not included in the BOQ issued by the client and inform to Estimator to price these items.
• Check all queries raised to the Consultant are answered in time before submission of the tender.
• Maintain all related documents safely.
• Prepare BOQ for submission in readable and legible manner for submission to the Consultant.
• Assist the Contract Department on technical matters for preparing letters to the consultant / client (like tender offer letter, letters regarding revised offers etc.) as required.
• Raise RFI to the Consultant through Estimator/ Estimation Engineer regarding any discrepancies in Drawings and documents and on any other information required to
• price the tender.
• Calculation and submission of variations for the additional works in project.
• Assist Procurement Department to identify the drawings for floating tender & Job in hand enquiries
• Utilize estimation software and tools to streamline the estimation process, improve accuracy, and enhance efficiency.
• Check all documents issued at the tender time and prepare the contract documents for job in hand projects
• Assist the Estimator, Senior Estimation Engineer to submit the tender on time

Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying/Civil Engineering.
