Junior Sous Chef (Italian Restaurant)

• Assist in the preparation and execution of authentic Italian dishes in line with established recipes and standards

• Support daily kitchen operations, including mise en place, service, and closing procedures

• Supervise kitchen team members and ensure efficient workflow during service

• Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation

• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards

• Assist with inventory control, ordering, and minimizing food wastage

• Train and guide junior kitchen staff, promoting skill development and teamwork

• Ensure proper use, care, and maintenance of kitchen equipment

• Step in to lead kitchen operations in the absence of the Sous Chef

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar role within an Italian restaurant

• Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine, ingredients, and cooking techniques

• Experience working in fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environments

• Good leadership, communication, and organizational skills

• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays
