Junior Specialist in Colon and Rectal Surgeon

SearchPlus HR is excited to announce an opportunity for a Junior Consultant in Colon and Rectal Surgery to join our healthcare team. This position is ideal for early-career surgeons looking to gain invaluable experience and expertise in the field of colorectal surgery.

As a Junior Consultant, you will work under the guidance of senior surgeons, participating in patient assessments, surgical procedures, and post-operative care. This role offers a unique chance to develop your skills in diagnosing and treating conditions related to the colon, rectum, and anus while contributing to effective patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the evaluation of patients with gastrointestinal disorders.
• Participate in performing diagnostic procedures such as colonoscopy under supervision.
• Support senior surgeons in surgical operations, gaining hands-on experience in various techniques.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care and support to patients.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and post-surgical care.
• Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure a collaborative approach to patient care.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, adhering to best practices in documentation.
• Engage in ongoing education and training opportunities to enhance surgical knowledge and skills.
• Adhere to ethical guidelines and standards of practice in all patient interactions.
• Participate in departmental meetings and case reviews to contribute to a high standard of care.

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with a valid medical license.
• A strong interest in colorectal surgery with some clinical experience preferred.
• Basic surgical skills and familiarity with surgical procedures related to the colon and rectum.
• Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and teamwork.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care and continuous professional development.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Working Time is Full Time.

Salary is AED 45K TO AED 90K
