As a Junior Specialist in Pathology, you will have the opportunity to enhance your expertise in diagnostic pathology while contributing to critical patient care services. You will work under the supervision of experienced pathologists, assisting with the examination and analysis of tissue samples and providing support to ensure accurate diagnoses.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the examination and interpretation of tissue samples and bodily fluids for diagnostic purposes.
• Support senior pathologists in providing accurate pathological assessments and diagnoses.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborate with healthcare professionals to discuss patient cases.
• Engage in continuing education and training opportunities to develop skills and knowledge in pathology.
• Maintain compliance with laboratory protocols and contribute to quality assurance initiatives within the department.

• Medical degree with a focus on Pathology or related fields.
• Some experience or internship in pathology or laboratory settings is preferred.
• Basic understanding of pathology techniques, methodologies, and laboratory practices.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to learn microscopic examination techniques.
• Good communication skills for effective teamwork and collaboration.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy in diagnostics.
• A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Capable of working both independently and under the guidance of senior pathologists.
