As a Junior Specialist Neurosurgeon, you will work alongside experienced neurosurgical teams, assisting in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with neurological disorders. You will gain hands-on experience in performing various procedures while ensuring high standards of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the evaluation and management of patients with neurological conditions
• Participate in pre-operative assessments and contribute to the development of surgical plans
• Assist in performing surgical procedures under the guidance of senior surgeons
• Monitor post-operative recovery and manage patient care as directed
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases and treatment plans
• Engage in continuous learning and professional development to enhance surgical skills and knowledge
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare standards

• Medical degree with a focus on neurosurgery and a valid license to practice
• Basic understanding of neurosurgical principles and procedures
• Some experience in a clinical setting, ideally within neurosurgery or related fields
• Strong desire to learn and develop skills under the mentorship of experienced surgeons
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interactions
• Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
