Position Overview

The Junior Specialist Oral and Dental Surgeon will work under the supervision of experienced surgeons, gaining valuable experience in diagnosing and performing a variety of surgical procedures related to oral health. This position is ideal for recent graduates or those early in their careers looking to develop their skills in a dynamic hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the evaluation of patients to determine oral surgical needs and treatment options.
• Participate in performing surgical procedures, including tooth extractions, minor oral surgeries, and implant placements.
• Provide post-operative care and monitor patients’ recovery, ensuring optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with senior surgeons and interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.
• Engage in continuous education and training to enhance surgical skills and knowledge.
• Educate patients on aftercare and preventive dental health practices.

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD).
• Completed a residency or equivalent training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
• Valid license to practice in the UAE or eligibility for licensing.
• Basic experience in performing surgical procedures in a clinical or hospital setting.
• Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, surgical methods, and oral health practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient interaction.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Team player with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
