Junior Specialist Orthodontist

SearchPlus HR is excited to present an opportunity for a Junior Specialist Orthodontist to join our dynamic team. This position is tailored for recent dental graduates or early-career orthodontists who are eager to develop their expertise in orthodontic treatment and practices.

As a Junior Specialist Orthodontist, you will work under the guidance of seasoned orthodontists, gaining valuable hands-on experience in diagnosing and treating dental and facial irregularities. Your responsibilities will include creating treatment plans, performing orthodontic procedures, and educating patients on maintaining their oral health.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in conducting thorough orthodontic evaluations and assessments of patients.
• Support senior orthodontists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
• Participate in the application and adjustment of orthodontic appliances, such as braces and aligners.
• Educate patients and their families about orthodontic procedures, timing, and aftercare.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation as per regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with dental staff and other specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Engage in continuous learning opportunities and keep up to date with advancements in orthodontics.

• Degree in Dentistry (DMD or DDS) with a focus on orthodontics preferred.
• A valid dental license to practice.
• Some clinical experience in orthodontics is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient interaction.
• A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Detail-oriented with good organizational skills to manage patient care effectively.
