Responsibilities

• Conduct initial psychiatric assessments and gather patient histories to inform treatment plans
• Assist in the delivery of therapeutic interventions, both individually and in groups
• Monitor and document patient progress, reporting any changes to the supervising psychiatrist
• Participate in case discussions and multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure comprehensive care
• Provide support and education to patients and their families regarding mental health conditions
• Engage in continuous professional development to enhance understanding of psychiatric care methods
• Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards in all patient interactions

• Medical degree or equivalent with a focus on Psychiatry or related field
• Understanding of fundamental psychiatric principles and treatment approaches
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective patient engagement
• Enthusiasm for learning and working collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in patient documentation
• Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to ethical practices
• Active medical license or in progress of obtaining licensure as required by the private healthcare facility
