Kitchen Steward for a 4 Star Deluxe Hotel

Apt Resources is currently seeking a dedicated Kitchen Steward to join the team at a 4-star hotel. As a Kitchen Steward, you will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, ensuring the smooth operations of the culinary team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of all kitchen areas, including dishwashing area, equipment, and utensils
• Wash, peel, and chop vegetables and fruits as needed
• Assist in receiving, storing, and organizing food supplies and ingredients
• Remove trash and dispose of waste properly
• Maintain a clean and organized storeroom
• Assist the kitchen team in basic food preparation tasks
• Adhere to health and safety regulations
• Assist with occasional cleaning tasks in other areas of the hotel as required

Requirements

• Prior experience as a Kitchen Steward or similar role in a hotel or restaurant setting or even freshers are welcome
• Must be in UAE
• Strong knowledge of hygiene and sanitation standards in a kitchen environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
• Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects if required
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen equipment is a plus

Benefits

Basic Salary AED 900 + fixed AED 500/- per month towards Service Charge plus sharing accommodation ( 4 in 1) plus duty meals and all other benefits as per UAE labor laws. A language allowance of AED 300 will be paid to those who can speak Arabic, Russian, French, or German
