Job Summary

The UAE National Laboratory Technician supports laboratory operations by preparing equipment and materials, performing laboratory procedures, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring accurate documentation of laboratory activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory equipment, instruments, and materials for practical sessions and testing.

• Perform laboratory procedures according to established protocols.

• Maintain laboratory equipment and coordinate servicing when required.

• Monitor laboratory inventory and order supplies as needed.

• Ensure compliance with laboratory safety regulations and infection control procedures.

• Maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation.

• Assist faculty, instructors, and students during laboratory sessions.

• Dispose of laboratory waste according to safety guidelines.

• Perform quality control procedures and report equipment malfunctions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Laboratory Technology, Medical Laboratory Science, or a related laboratory field.

• Knowledge of laboratory procedures, equipment, and safety standards.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
